Default Tree?

I'm looking for a smaller tree (maybe 10-15ft tall) that is low maintenance. I would prefer something that blooms if possible. Any ideas?

Crabapples are always low-maintenance trees that are small. You could check those out. They normally have flowers that range from white to purple.

Most fruit trees are around the size you ask about but sometimes they are quite a bit of work. Fruit trees fall to more pests, fungus, and are normally of a weaker wood so you have to baby them more.

Some pine trees only get about 15 feet tall and you don't have to do much work for a pine tree to grow.

Japanese Maple trees, while they don't bloom, are small and very pretty. They do need to be babied a bit, however.

I really think your best bet is going to be a crabapple tree which was mentioned above. They are very easy to take care of and small and bloom like you requested.
