I used a product called LawnPro Software. It tracks customers and does scheduling and invoicing. Great product.

I use Excel. I know it won't be good in the long run but for the small business I have, it works.

It depends on how big your getting - we tried Lawn Care Pro (good price) but it didn't have the bells and wistles that i was looking for with our other services. Currently using Quickbooks and Gopher (they are synced) this seems to be a really good combination. Scheduling and tracking with Gopher records and reports from Quickbooks

P.S. my accountant likes this combination as well whenever we need to give her info all we have to do is a few clicks and e-mail her the packet. (this is very helpful when your accountant moves to Alaska)

I'll have to try Quickbooks and Gopher combination. Sounds like that might be real handy.

    Default Scheduling Manager

I would recommend taking a look at Scheduling Manager from Thoughtful Systems (Service Business Software including Maid Service Software, HVAC, Pest Control Janitorial Home Health Care Job Estimating Software) Their software does billing, customer information, scheduling, payroll, mapping, etc. They have a Quickbooks interface.

If your just starting out or even if you have been running a while then Lawn Pro is great. You can organize your expenses and print them off sorted then fax. For the price you really can't go wrong.

When I started the business I used Excel. Then I looked into LawnPro software and have been using it for two years. Very happy!

Lawn Pro is a great program. Took me a little while to learn it and got frustrated several times. Once you learn it though its well worth it and it all makes sense. Patrick is always good to help out with questions that you have. Best technical support I have ever had... I manage over a 100 customers with LawnPro
