Unhappy Getting Business

I have just started a lawn care business in my city which is getting larger everyday. I know it is September. I saved up all year and bought the equipment while it was on sale and it is paid for. What is the best way to get new business. My city has a population of 175,000 and growing I have been putting flyer's on every residence that I go by but no calls. Any suggestions?

It really depends on what part of the country you are located in. Where are you?

Maybe you could try repositioning your fliers to get more business. You could also take an ad out in the paper or something.

They say word of mouth is the best advertising so maybe you could create some sort of referral system where current customers get a 5% discount for recommending someone to your lawn care business.

Hope these ideas help!

I guess it all depends on how much your business has grown and how much more you want it to grow but you could advertise on the radio or a local channel (possibly late at night) so the rates are cheaper.
