Default Mower Set Up

I purchased a Wright Stander and have problems getting it off my trailer. The deck scrapes on the trailer because of the angle of the ramp. I reset the tractor on the stander from the factory height to the highest setting but it still drags somewhat and now I can't really adjust my cutting height any lower because the blades are down as low as they will go. I have them at 3 1/2 in. but would like to set them lower. Any suggestions as to how I can lower the mower back to the factory setting and still get it off the trailer without damaging the deck any further

If you have a reciever hitch try one with less of a drop. This will keep the front of the trailer a little higher and give less angle on the ramps. Another thing I have had to do is add a couple pieces of 2x4 under the back edge of the ramp. I have to do this when loading my tractors with the snowblowers attached. Hope this helps.

If you can raise the front of the trailer as mentioned with a hitch it should correct the problem. Other options would be a tilt trailer but with ztr mowers the tilt can be a pain to get use to. You may also add deck wheels to the mower housing.

A lower trailer would probably help.
