Christmas Lighting
It's not too soon to think Christmas. I've seen lawn companies put up people's Christmas lights, and as my first, very profitable lawn season ends soon (I'm near Chicago), I'm looking to keep the business going, and wonder if any of you tackle that? Does the customer provide lights, what are good price packages, when to start offering service, do I charge separately for take-down, etc. I know someone who does interior design and can decorate indoors, as I hang lights outside - it might be a powerful combo.
It sounds great on paper, but is this a good thing, or am I asking for a world of misery?

it is a good idea...I havent heard of too many interior and exterior Christmas decorators. You might be able to get more customers with an all inclusive package that covers materials, putting them up, taking them down and any maintenance, but I'm sure you could charge individually and make the customer buy their own materials if you wanted to

Christmas Lighting
hi
While you're here, check out these accessories. Christmas rope lights are great fun to hang, and novelty Christmas lights give us the giggles. We also have a variety of colored flood lights and spot lights to celebrate your home and your tree. Wonder where people get those amazing outdoor Christmas decorations, pre-lit and pre-shaped into words and designs of the holiday ..

its still better to act now rather than pushing yourself when the occasion comes...
